The all-star Austentatious cast improvise a hilarious new Jane Austen novel every night.

Inspired entirely by a random title from the audience and performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment – it’s a riotous, razor-sharp show where swooning is guaranteed.

With whip-smart wit, and a cavalcade of cads, dashing gents and fierce heroines, this is a legendary comedy experience for Austen-fans and newcomers alike.

After being founded in London in 2011, Austentatious took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm in 2012. In a free venue above a pub, the show drew queues stretching around the block, and a slew of rave reviews proclaiming it the must-see show of the year.

From those humble roots Austentatious has continued to grow and grow, performing everywhere from The RSC in Stratford, to Hampton Court Palace with a story title in a golden envelope written by Queen Camilla herself. They had the first improvised show on BBC Radio 4 for a decade, and the talented cast have gone on to establish themselves as some of the stars of stage and screen in UK comedy.

Swiftly becoming a West End institution, Austentatious is a totally unique evening of fun, frocks and laughs so hearty they’ll burst your breeches!
